Shayne was outstanding as our wedding photographer! He’s a great communicator, and made sure we didn’t need to worry about a thing from his side in the lead up to our wedding. His advanced preparedness of collecting the names we wanted for group photos in advance really removed a lot of stress and effort to herd people on the day of, and he kept things on a good schedule to make sure we made the most of our time, while still getting to enjoy our reception.
When taking photos, it really was like he wasn’t even there, in the best way. There were so many moments he photographed where we had no idea he was actually in the location or angle he was at to get a shot, which really made for some great photos. The pictures we got back are great, and candid and authentic. Even the “staged” shots looked and felt natural while we were taking them. Beyond his skill as a photographer, he was just a lot of fun to be around, and kept our nerves low throughout the day. Would gladly recommend Shayne to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

THANK YOU. Shayne was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish! I love the extra mile of making sure that we would be a good fit for each other. It made everything so much easier and comfortable when the big day arrived! As always, there’s lots of stress and time constraints on the big day. I can honestly say, Shayne was never a remote concern to me. We had a clear timeline and outline of photos that I wanted, and he DELIVERED. He handled every situation like the professional he is. As per his speciality, he caught precious candid moments of me and my husband, as well as all of our guests! He was extremely stealthy with his shots, and made sure to pull us away at the right time for our golden hour photos. He was so on top of EVERYTHING. We’re so happy to have chosen SB Images for our special day, and I would choose him again and again.

Shayne was fantastic. He seemed to be everywhere with his camera, we got great candid shots and poses! He knew what he was doing and was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.

Shayne was an absolute creative gem! He captured our wedding perfectly! He was quiet yet friendly and simultaneously made everyone feel comfortable. Shayne’s style of photography captured our favourite and memorable moments, including when our cake fell over and I absolutely loved that photo! No matter what was going on, or how behind in schedule we were, he made sure to get the job done and capture our entire day with his swift ninja like moves! We’re so glad we met him and cannot wait ti continue working with him!

Working with Shayne was a great experience from start to finish. From our first meeting, he was extremely responsive and gave us a clear sense of his photography style and what we could expect from him. We quickly felt he was the perfect match for what we were looking for from a wedding photographer. Shayne brought fantastic ideas to the table and was equally open to incorporating our own. He was so efficient during the wedding day, particularly with the family photos, which we’d anticipated would take up a lot of time. Instead, he kept things moving smoothly, allowing us to spend more time enjoying our wedding and spending time with guests. Throughout the day, he blended effortlessly with the crowd, capturing candid moments that we now love looking back on. Overall, Shayne made the entire process enjoyable, and we’re thrilled with the results! We’d absolutely recommend him to anyone we know that’s getting married!

Shayne was an absolute gem and we loved having him be a part of our day. We didn’t have much time to plan, as it was a quick elopement, but he was quick and responsive with his communication. We had a few ideas of what we liked but left the creative juices up to him, and we were thrilled with our pictures.

Shayne is incredibly personable. He brought a sense of ease, patience, fun and the feeling of an old soul, that made you want to hang out with him all day.

But, also…the shoes. You gotta check out his shoes.

My new husband and I couldn't be happier with the photos that Shayne provided from our wedding day! We ended up choosing SB Images because of how our family member's wedding photos turned out, and we are very happy with our choice to book for our big day as well!

He drove to our venue which was over 3 hours away and still got there well before the ceremony began to take lots of getting ready photos. He will take any specific photos you want with a questionnaire beforehand and cater to you with clear correspondence prior to the event. Not only are Shayne's photo's great to capture your day, but he brings an amazing energy that truly feels like having a friend photographing your day!

I knew in 2016 that I wanted Shayne to be my photographer after he shot my best friends wedding. He made the entire wedding party feel comfortable and took some gorgeous shots I like to call little people big spaces. Shayne was great during our engagement session and made my partner feel really comfortable, even though he had never had a professional photo taken. Our wedding day was a dream, and I can look back at our photos and FEEL the emotions and be transported back to those exact moments. I would highly recommend Shayne for stunning photos and amazing candid shots that hit you right in the feels.

If you’re looking for the perfect photographer for your wedding, stop the search here. Shayne is your guy. Not only is he incredibly talented and experienced, but a joy to work with and a resource to lean on during the big day. He helped guide our bridal party through the details we didn’t think of(relying on that experience as noted above), kept us laughing and smiling the entire time, and set us up with incredible shots and moments we will cherish forever. I spent our two and a half year engagement looking at Pinterest for shots we could take that wouldn’t look cheesy or forced. I had come to the conclusion that this was almost inevitable – so when we went into the engagement shoot with Shayne, I was wary of how this hour or so was going to go.

It ended up being one of my favourite parts of the pre-wedding/planning experience. Shayne has this ridiculous ability to make you feel relaxed while he is bounding with energy, Canon in hand, snapping beautiful (& not cheesy) shots you didn’t know could be produced.

By the time the wedding rolled around, we were completely at ease. We knew we were in good hands and we knew what phenomenal work Shayne could create – so it was one less thing to stress about on the day!

Beyond the beautiful photos he took, one of the things I liked most about Shayne was how psyched he was for us – for our love, for our day, and for our memories. It seems like a small detail, but for me it was important to know that the people I surrounded myself with on our wedding day were just as excited for our next step as we were.

Shayne is a great photographer and an even greater guy – he is by far one of the most talented, high energy, truly genuine persons I have ever met. We would work with him again in a heart beat.
