Kingston Wedding Photographer – Four Points Sheraton Wedding

Renée and Tomasz’s wedding day was a short one (for me).  They’re not centre of attention type of people and wanted to keep their wedding coverage simple.  I love smaller weddings, and especially on Thanksgiving weekend (a great excuse to have a bunch of family and friends eat and drink together). We started our day arriving at Our Lady Of Lourdes Parish where a heartfelt ceremony culminated with Renée’s smile beaming from the signing table as her ladies wept in […]

Kingston Wedding Photographer – Sarah and Tyler

Summer 2016 will go down on record as one of the driest summers ever; but when it rained, it realllllly rained (and mostly on Saturdays).  Sarah and Tyler weren’t letting rain stop their dreams of having an outdoor wedding on their property (uhhh the log cabin THEY built with their own hands!) and making it a party. They weren’t kidding when they said they wanted a party …

Kingston Wedding Photographer – Penny and Jarrett’s Cottage Wedding

Arriving at Penny’s family cottage with the threat of rain overhead Jarrett was checking his weather app frequently and saying “it’s gonna pass, no big deal …we’re going for it!”  The backup plan was a houseparty (they play in a band together and both figured they’d played house shows with more people than at the wedding so they could pull that off if need be. The rain held – they got married on the ‘swimming rock’ in front of 70 […]

Kingston Engagement Photography – Rachel and Kevin

I usually ask my couples to tell me the story of their engagement.  It helps me to learn more about them to incorporate into our pre-wedding session.  I want to know what they like to do together and where they like to spend their time so I can help them create meaningful photos in a place they feel comfortable or in doing something that they like to do as a couple. Kevin and Rachel spend a lot of time canoeing on the […]

Kingston Wedding Photography - Kerrianne and Michael

Kingston Wedding Photographer – Amherstview Golf Club Wedding

Michael and his groomsmen started the day off at the Expert Tees pro mini-golf course for a quick round before heading back to the Green Acres Inn to get ready while Kerrianne and her bridesmaids were at the other end of the building avoiding each other when going outside by sending texts to other bridal party members. Before heading for the walk down the aisle at Amherstview Golf Club their first look at the Inn was a sweet moment for each of them as Kerrianne […]

Gananoque Engagement Photography - Kingston Wedding Photography - Stephanie and Colin

Gananoque Engagement Photographer – Stephanie and Colin

Stephanie and Colin are set to hit Lake Ontario for their Kingston wedding aboard the Island Queen in July.  They’re from the Kingston + Ottawa areas respectively but now live in Calgary.  While they were home for Easter (and a wedding shower featuring a beer tasting from Gananoque Brewing Co.!) we figured it’d be a great time to get together and wander around Gananoque for a while to make some photos.

Derek and Jessica - Kingston Proposal

Jessica and Derek – Proposal at Stauffer Library

Surprise Proposal Photography @ Stauffer Library, Queen’s University – Jessica and Derek Jessica was one of my son’s favorite day care teachers (she’s now a school teacher.)  I’d photographed her and her sisters as a present for their parents in 2012.   When Derek called saying he was going to propose and wanted me to photograph it for him I was pretty excited. They met via likealittle – a now defunct social network site designed to allow students to post anonymous flirts with people […]
