The Kingston area had a surprisingly wet summer. June and September were a crapshoot for outdoor weddings. When I arrived at Jess and Chad’s home / horse stables just north of Kingston it was drizzling but spirits weren’t dampened as much as the ground was (an old wive’s tale states rain on your wedding day is good luck!) but the rain was sporadic and in between the ceremony and reception we had a dry spot to do everything we wanted to do outside.
